One Year of Bralton Books

Bralton Books was born in January 2025, when we opened our online bookstore for the very first time.

What started as a small, focused webstore quickly became something bigger: a shared project created by two authors with a passion for genre fiction, independent publishing, and building a place where stories matter.

Like most first years in business, 2025 has been full of contrasts. There have been exciting milestones and difficult moments, fast growth and necessary pauses, confidence and doubt. Running an independent online bookstore is not easy, especially in a crowded digital landscape, but it has been deeply rewarding.

As we approach our first anniversary, we’re proud of what Bralton Books has already become.

Bralton Books is run by two authors working closely together, not only as writers but as partners, publishers and booksellers. That means every book in our store is chosen with care, with a strong focus on storytelling, genre identity, and reader experience.

These genres shape everything we do, from the books we publish to the way we present them to readers.

During our first year, wea at Bralton Books have brought several of our fictional worlds to our readers.

The gothic, secretive world of the Vampires of Emberbury, where paranormal romance and urban fantasy meet hidden vampire-witch societies, ancient rules, and dangerous paranormal attraction.

We continued to expand the Witches of Ibiza, a series blending paranormal suspense, mystery, and urban fantasy, set against the deceptively bright backdrop of the Mediterranean island.

Our store also welcomed titles by the famous Alex Cortes and inspector chef Gildo Falcone, adding thriller and suspense elements to the Bralton Books catalogue and broadening the range of stories available to our readers to Barcelona and Rome.

Looking Ahead: What’s Coming Next?

We know Bralton Books is still growing, and there's still much to improve, refine, and expand. We're aware growth takes time.

In the coming year, we’re excited to continue developing our catalogue and to welcome new titles, genres, and authors to the shop. One of our next additions will be the Carpi Café romcoms, a romantic comedy series that brings lighter, character-driven stories into the Bralton Books universe, without losing emotional depth.

Our goal is to keep offering readers a diverse but coherent selection of genre fiction, from dark paranormal romance and urban fantasy to thrillers, suspense, and contemporary romcoms.
